Configuring the Java Plug-in  
       

 

  
   

After you install the Java Plug-in, you must configure it to work with Discoverer.

    To configure the Java Plug-in:
     
   
  1. Go to your home directory. Type .netscape/Java/ControlPanel. The Java Plug-in Properties dialog appears.
  2. Click the Basic tab.
  3. Put a checkmark next to Enable Java Plug-in.
  4. Make sure Show Java Console is unchecked.
  5. Put a checkmark next to Cache JARs in memory.
  6. Click the Proxies tab.
  7. Make sure Use browser settings is unchecked.
  8. Click Apply and close the Java Plug-in Properties dialog.
