Setting up Netscape Navigator  
       
 
   

To use Discoverer with Netscape Navigator, you must have the Java Plug-in 1.3 from Sun Microsystems installed on your computer. Sun provides free downloads of the Java Plug-in 1.3 from their website.

Note: Print this web page and follow the instructions below.
     
    To download and install the Java Plug-in 1.3:
     
   
  1. Go to the Java Plug-in 1.3 download web page at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/.
  2. Click the link for your platform.
  3. On the next Web page, follow the instructions for installing the plug-in 1.3.
  4. Restart Netscape and return to the Discoverer Web page.
Note: If you have problems installing the Java Plug-in 1.3, contact your Discoverer administrator.
